After working all weekend on the store, I finally have it half way organized. The Christmas room will officially open this Friday, October 10th with new/old things coming in daily.

our newest dealer, Denise has some great antique pieces she bought in Germany while living there and is now downsizing and bringing in what she doesn't have room for anymore. You will see some of these on this weeks blog.

The Plum Tree will be participating in McDonough's annual Trick or Treat event on October 31st from 3:00 until 5:00 or until the candy runs out. We had a lot of fun last year watching all the kids and the great costumes you Moms came up with. I hope the weather is cool!
as a reminder, McDonough and it's merchants will be hosting our annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, November 2nd. The Plum Tree will have an array of refreshment, plus a drawing for a $30.00 Plum Tree gift certificate and a $30.00 gas card plus other prizes!

We have extended our cards for soldiers one more day so it will be ending on the 2nd of November. Other things requested are...AT&T phone cards ~ Baby wipes~ body wipes ~ Batteries (AA) ~ Dental floss ~ Mouthwash ~ Waterless hand sanitizer ~ Eye drops ~ Saline Nasal spray ~ Deodorant ~ Black sunglasses ~ Chapstick ~ Sunscreen ~ Foot powder ~ Disposable razors ~ Soap (non-scented because bugs like scented items) ~ Shampoo (non-scented because bugs like scented items) ~ Toothbrushes ~ Toothpaste ~ Baggies with Zip Lock ~ Tube Socks"Gold Bond" ~ anti-fungle powders ~ fleece gloves ~ scarves ~ blankets ~ lotion (non-scented because bugs like scented items) ~ Lidocane 4% cream.

This is so important and such a simple thing to do even if you do not have anyone in the military, remember they are over there fighting for us!

All items can be dropped off at the Plum Tree, we will take care of the shipping. Everyone that donates will be entered in a drawing for a $30.00 Plum Tree Gift Certificate.

Hope to see you soon!

This is such an unusual cabinet/wardrobe. It has an enamal art deco design insert in the door.

Hi Cindy,
I'll do my best to have you some holiday pieces before in a couple of weeks. I've got some fun ideas. I'll also be shifting back into getting a good crop of new art to bring in. Hugs!
