!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I was telling you in the last blog, McDonough is holding a scarecrow contest which had to be ready by tomorrow, (Friday) so today Kellie, Sharon, Joy, Denise and I worked on the front porch of the store to transform it into Hooterville, better known as Green Acres to all of you 50 something folks like me.

We decided to do this 60's television show for our scarecrows because we were allowed to choose a theme.

The contest will start tomorrow and the winner will be chosen on the 23rd which is also the day of our Fall Harvest Days. The Plum Tree along with other patrons on and around the square will be open until 9:00 PM. For more information you can go to http://www.mcdonoughga.org/ and click on Main Street Calendar of Events on the left hand side of the screen.

On Saturday the 24th of October, McDonough's Fall Festival & Chili Cook off will be held in the downtown square from 11:00 - 8:00 for entry forms, please click on the link above.

We hope you will be able to make it out, for those of you out of town, please enjoy this weeks photos.
