This has been another busy week at The Plum Tree, Joy and Sylvia got their room painted a fresh spring green, it really brings some brightness to the store and shows off their collections.
I am also very pleased to hear so many of you tell me that you have visited some of the store I have suggested and loved them. I feel it is so important to support each other.
Phyllis, owner of Antique Griffin put together a wonderful antique shop and restaurant guides for Griffin and McDonough and we were pleased to be included in it. If you are in the shop, please pick one up and visit the many unique places these two towns have to offer.
And while I am at it, there is a wonderful Antique shop in Lilburn, called Antiques in Old Town. They are hosting a Spring Open House Friday & Saturday, March 14th and 15th from 10:00 ~ 5:00. The address and phone number are at the end of the blog.
I hope you enjoy this weeks photos ~ Hope to see you soon!

News from The Plum Tree

Wow, another week has gone by already, we have been pretty busy with the shop the last two weeks, everyone is bringing in new goods, some of them I can't pass up myself, thanks Joy and Deborah and, we have been so busy, we really appreciate your business!

If you are like the rest of us the past few days with the exception of today has really brought on some Spring Fever.

Joy and Sylvia are going to be painting their room this coming week, I can't wait to see the results. They really have an eclectic mix of pieces and they just got started.

After Dawn completes her move and I get all of my things over from Ms. Wendy's, the front bedroom will have a whole new look as well, here I go with the choice of paint colors again!
Speaking of Dawn, she is still running her 50% off sale until the end of the month and she has a new web store up and running with some of her awesome art projects, check it out at The Feathered Nest.

First off this week...Brand new Romantic Homes Magazine remember we sell ours for $1.00 off the cover price.

This old mannequin has been converted into an incredible lamp. She is mounted to her origianl wooden stand and you can adjust the height as well. The shade shown is sold seperately.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope all of you got a chance to visit and welcome our new neighbors, Blumen Trio. I finally got by there this evening and let me tell you, I am no flower expert, however I can tell you their flowers are beautiful. As I walked up the sidewalk, I could actually smell the fragrance coming from inside.

Bob, Vicki and Mark are all very nice and I wish them much success in their new endeavour.

The Plum Tree has absolutely the most inventory ever, the dealers are finding so much neat stuff that it is hard to show it all so here is just a preview of what we have.

Joy will kill me for featuring her crows front and center because she didn't think they were anything special. Well I happen to disagree with her. They are too cute, and who could resist those lovely lashes.

News came to me two days ago that Dawn decided to give up her room at the Plum Tree.

Although Dawn has a great love for the store and our customers, she has decided to put her heart and soul into what she loves the best and that is creating. For those of you who have been lucky enough to purchase or been given her one of a kind works of art you can say "Hey I knew her when"

I am sure she will be around and will be offering some of her pieces at the store in the near future.

Dawn is offering her entire stock of merchandise at 50% off until the end of the month, so come on in for some super savings.

Karin is another great artist and this little cowboy shadow box is just one of the pieces she has to offer, and believe it or not the rose at the top of this page is not real but one that Karin makes out of simple household items...coffee filters.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?

I have to apologize for my blurry photos, I am still trying to get used to my new camera.
