Long May She Wave ~ Happy 4th Of July

I'm Proud To Be An American
Written By Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, '
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.

From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A.
There's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say:

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, '
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July

This week, I am featuring a few things I picked up on my recent trip, it was nice to get away, however I am glad to be back at the Plum Tree and doing what I love.

I found this great old iron bed a while ago, but just recently got the room to set it up. It is full size with great chippy white paint that can be left as is or painted to match your decor.

Includes head & foot board, side rails and slats

Close-up of detail Emily brought in these elegant monogrammed sheets. They are actually made for a twin bed and long before there were fitted bottom sheets. There is a set for two twin beds, and both top sheet are monogrammed with pretty lace trim.

Chris, who is quite the photographer, has started a blog Bloomies etc. where you can view and purchase work created from her fabulous photos.

Good luck Chris and Charlie!
